Deliver expert care to critically ill patients as an ICU Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity places you at the forefront of patient-centered healthcare within an accredited setting recognized for excellence. In this assignment, you will utilize advanced clinical skills and critical thinking to monitor, assess, and provide quality interventions for individuals requiring intensive care.

Schedule:

  • Weekly Monday orientations for streamlined onboarding.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring close monitoring and timely intervention.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life-support measures according to protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—including physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff—to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients’ families to provide education and support.
  • Maintain detailed, accurate patient records and participate in ongoing care planning.
  • Adhere to all hospital, state, and Joint Commission standards to uphold patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Current, unencumbered RN license.
  • Minimum of one year recent ICU experience required; strong proficiency in critical care protocols and technology.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications.
  • Proficient in clinical documentation and EMR systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, adaptability in high-acuity settings, and professional demeanor.
  • Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status.
  • Completion of full candidate submittal packet, including a resume, candidate self-assessment, and skills checklist.
