Critical Care Registered Nurse | Elko, Nevada

Deliver critical care expertise in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit environment. As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients while working alongside a highly skilled team. This contract position offers exposure to a wide range of critical cases and professional growth in a respected healthcare facility serving northeast Nevada communities.

Schedule/Hours:

• Weekly Monday orientations

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license, multistate or state-specific as required
• Minimum of one year recent ICU nursing experience
• Proficiency with advanced cardiac life support and critical care protocols
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
• Comfort working in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
• BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
• Must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor patients with critical medical needs in the ICU
• Implement physician orders and develop individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform interventions per protocol
• Utilize advanced equipment to monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all care provided

• Position is offered on a contract basis
