Deliver critical care expertise in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit environment. As an experienced Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide exceptional care to patients while working alongside a highly skilled team. This contract position offers exposure to a wide range of critical cases and professional growth in a respected healthcare facility serving northeast Nevada communities.
Schedule/Hours:
- Weekly Monday orientations
Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license, multistate or state-specific as required
- Minimum of one year recent ICU nursing experience
- Proficiency with advanced cardiac life support and critical care protocols
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Comfort working in high-acuity, fast-paced settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Must reside 60+ miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
- Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Responsibilities:
- Assess and monitor patients with critical medical needs in the ICU
- Implement physician orders and develop individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, manage IVs, and perform interventions per protocol
- Utilize advanced equipment to monitor patients and respond to changes in condition
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all care provided
