Critical Care Registered Nurse | Elyria, Ohio

Provide critical care nursing expertise in a specialized Neurosurgical ICU setting focused on acute neurological conditions. This contract opportunity involves managing complex patients requiring intensive monitoring and interventions in an acute care environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients with acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical neurological conditions.
• Perform invasive intracranial pressure monitoring and frequent neurological assessments.
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring closely and coordinate routine diagnostic procedures such as CT scans, MRI, and angiography.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort within a 19-bed unit with 2-3:1 patient-to-nurse assignments.
• Assist in other ICU or Step-Down units as needed.
• Work a consistent weekend block schedule covering every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Desired Experience:

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Proven experience in Neuro ICU nursing.
