Schedule/Hours

  • 3x12-hour shifts weekly (day and night positions available)
  • 36 hours per week guaranteed

Qualifications

  • Active California RN license
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required; NRP preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience, plus prior supervisory or charge RN experience
  • Ability to float between ER, ICU, and Med/Surg as needed, particularly to support meal coverage
  • Current negative TB screening within 12 months of contract start

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee nursing operations during assigned shifts, ensuring high standards of patient care and staff support across all hospital units
  • Serve as a vital resource, providing backup and clinical leadership in ICU, ER, and Med/Surg departments
  • Coordinate patient flow, emergency preparedness, and effective communication between multidisciplinary teams
  • Lead by example in responding to emergencies, managing staffing issues, and upholding policy compliance
