Intensive Care RN | Fremont, California

You’ll play a crucial role supporting critically ill patients, ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort each shift. Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 8 hours each (night shifts)
• Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating as needed

Required Qualifications:

• Active California RN License
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience (4 years preferred)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Flexibility to float to other units as required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced ICU setting
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including physicians and other nurses
• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and respond rapidly to changes
• Administer medications, interventions, and therapies according to physician instructions
• Accurately document all aspects of patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding diagnosis, procedures, and ongoing care plans
• Assist in maintaining a safe environment and adhere to infection control protocols
