Bring your expertise as an experienced ICU Registered Nurse to a vital role where you’ll make a direct impact on patient care. This position requires acute clinical skills and a commitment to exceptional patient outcomes in a fast-paced intensive care environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Night shifts, 4x8-hour shifts weekly
  • 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Weekend rotation required
  • Floating to other units as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN License
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certified
  • Minimum of 3 years’ recent ICU nursing experience (4 years preferred)
  • Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and teamwork skills
  • Experience working in high-acuity settings

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver evidence-based nursing care for critically ill adult patients in the ICU
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and execute patient treatment plans
  • Monitor and interpret vital signs, laboratory results, and assessments
  • Respond rapidly and effectively to emergencies and changes in patient status
  • Educate patients and families while providing support and ensuring understanding of care plans
  • Adhere to hospital protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
  • Flexibly float to other units according to facility needs
