Deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit environment, leveraging your critical expertise and compassion. This contract opportunity is ideal for experienced registered nurses with strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient safety and well-being.

Schedule:

  • Four 8-hour night shifts per week
  • Hours: 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM
  • Weekend rotation required
  • No on-call shifts
  • Floating to other units as needed

Qualifications:

  • Active California RN license required
  • BLS certification (AHA) required
  • ACLS certification required
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
  • Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience required; 4 years preferred
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Provide continuous nursing care to critically ill patients, managing complex and rapidly changing health statuses
  • Monitor patients, document assessments and interventions, and promptly respond to emergency situations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized plans of care
  • Administer medications, treatments, and advanced therapies as prescribed
  • Support patient families with education, guidance, and compassionate communication
  • Adhere to evidence-based protocols and safety standards in the ICU setting
  • Flexibly float to other critical care units as staffing needs arise
