Schedule/Hours:

  • Contract position with variable shifts available; flexibility is appreciated to meet the needs of the ICU unit.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current, active RN license required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an ICU setting
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • BLS and ACLS certifications, with additional critical care certifications a plus
  • Experience using electronic medical record systems
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in an ICU environment, following evidence-based protocols
  • Rapidly assess evolving patient conditions and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Safely administer medications, including titrating vasoactive drips and other critical infusions
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and specialists, to coordinate optimal care
  • Support and educate patients’ families during difficult and complex clinical situations
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all assessments, medications, procedures, and progress
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety policies
