Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Garland, TX

Experienced critical care nurses are needed to provide vital support and compassionate care in an intensive care environment. Desired Experience & Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent ICU nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Proficient with advanced cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
• Familiarity with ventilator management, titration of IV drips, and care for post-operative or unstable patients

Responsibilities:

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients, identifying changes promptly
• Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform interventions
• Manage central lines, arterial lines, chest tubes, and ventilators
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and adjust care plans
• Document assessments, procedures, and patient progress with precision
• Communicate clearly with patients and their families, providing updates and education
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and healing environment in accordance with unit and facility best practices

$1,936 - $2,048/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
