Travel Critical Care Nurse in Honolulu, HI

Schedule/Hours:

• Start Date: 05/11
• 16-week assignment
• Rotating shifts
• 36 hours per week

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN preferred)
• Active, unencumbered Hawaii RN license at time of application and throughout contract
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and AHA or APEX NIHSS certifications (all required)
• CPI (or equivalent) preferred
• CCRN or specialty certifications highly desired
• Must pass EKG exam with 80% or better during orientation
• All credentials must remain valid through the assignment
• Minimum of 2 years full-time ICU RN experience before any travel roles
• Medical/Surgical/Mixed ICU and CRRT experience highly preferred
• Strong preference for previous travelers in Hawaii’s health systems
• EPIC EMR experience required

Responsibilities:

• Deliver critical care for ICU-level patients in a high-acuity setting
• Float as needed to other units, including Telemetry, Med/Surg, and PACU/ED holds
• Ensure compliance requirements are completed no later than 10 days before the assignment start
• Adapt clinical skills and communication to a diverse and dynamic team environment
• Maintain excellent patient safety and documentation standards
