Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Huntington Beach, CA

Deliver high-quality care in a dynamic Intensive Care Unit setting, supporting critically ill patients with compassion and technical expertise. As a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU, you will work alongside a dedicated multidisciplinary team to provide complex clinical care, respond to emergencies, and promote a safe, healing environment.

Schedule/Hours:

• Per diem shifts with flexible scheduling options

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license in California
• Minimum one year of recent ICU experience (adult critical care preferred)
• ACLS and BLS certifications (current and in good standing)
• Proficiency with advanced life support principles and ventilator management
• Strong critical-thinking, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to rapidly changing patient needs and high-acuity situations

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care and manage comprehensive patient assessments in the ICU
• Monitor patient status, interpret clinical data, and recognize early signs of complications
• Administer medications and treatments according to evidence-based protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to develop and adjust patient care plans
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and critical care processes
• Ensure strict adherence to infection control and patient safety protocols at all times
• Accurately document all care provided in electronic medical records
