Critical Care Nurse in Jamestown, CA

Schedule/Hours:

• Contract assignment with flexible scheduling based on department needs

Qualifications:

• Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• BLS or CPR certification required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Previous experience in an acute care or ICU setting highly desirable
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver coordinated care to assigned ICU patients, following established standards of clinical practice and utilizing the nursing process
• Collect, assess, and analyze patient data to identify health issues and assist in formulating nursing diagnoses
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families to develop and implement individualized plans of care
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting safety and adherence to clinical policies
• Provide supervision and delegation to designated healthcare staff; support teamwork and contributions to a positive care environment
• Contribute to discharge planning for continuity of care post-hospitalization
