Schedule/Hours:
- Contract assignment with flexible scheduling based on department needs
Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- BLS or CPR certification required
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care or ICU setting highly desirable
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and leadership abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver coordinated care to assigned ICU patients, following established standards of clinical practice and utilizing the nursing process
- Collect, assess, and analyze patient data to identify health issues and assist in formulating nursing diagnoses
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, patients, and families to develop and implement individualized plans of care
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to care plans as needed to optimize outcomes
- Educate patients, families, and healthcare team members, promoting safety and adherence to clinical policies
- Provide supervision and delegation to designated healthcare staff; support teamwork and contributions to a positive care environment
- Contribute to discharge planning for continuity of care post-hospitalization
