Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Kingston, GA

Enhance patient care in a dynamic critical care environment by using your skills and expertise as a Registered Nurse in the ICU. This contract position offers a stimulating and supportive setting dedicated to high-acuity care, acute teamwork, and continuous learning.

Schedule:

• 12-hour night shifts (1900–0700)
• Every other weekend rotation
• Holiday commitment: coverage for 70% of holidays

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year ICU nursing experience preferred
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Ability to respond and adapt to changes in census or care areas as needed
• Strong critical thinking and rapid assessment skills

Responsibilities:

• Deliver specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medications, and manage complex IV therapies
• Engage with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to any medical-surgical or critical care area (including emergency department boarders) as needed
• Participate in rare on-call scenarios should census require, supporting broader patient care when necessary
• Uphold high safety and infection control standards
• Demonstrate flexibility, reliability, and professionalism during every shift
