ICU RN - Lakewood, Ohio

This opportunity calls for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to support inpatient care at a medical center serving a diverse patient population. The role involves working primarily during night shifts and participating in a flexible floating schedule across various inpatient units including stepdown and med/surg, ensuring high-quality care with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4.

Location:

Schedule/Hours:

• Night Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in ICU and other inpatient areas
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and clinical guidelines
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Provide patient and family education and support
• Float across multiple units including stepdown and med/surg, adapting to varying care settings

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current RN licensure with ICU experience
• Ability to manage a nurse-to-patient ratio of approximately 1:4
• Proficient in conducting assessments and responding to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
