Critical Care Nurse in Lakewood, OH

Deliver exceptional critical care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) nursing. Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unrestricted RN license
• Proven experience providing care in an ICU or critical care setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications
• Strong assessment, problem-solving, and clinical decision-making abilities
• Ability to remain composed and focused in high-pressure situations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care to the most acutely ill patients, administering medications, monitoring vitals, and managing life-support equipment
• Collaborate closely with physicians and care teams to create, implement, and adapt patient care plans
• Accurately document all interventions, changes in patient status, and care activities in compliance with regulatory standards
• Provide education, support, and reassurance to both patients and their families regarding treatments, procedures, and ICU protocols
• Uphold and continually reinforce infection control, safety, and quality improvement procedures
• Respond promptly to rapidly evolving patient needs, including emergency situations
