Qualifications:
- Active RN license with ICU experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current and valid)
- Demonstrated skills in patient assessment, critical thinking, and rapid response
- Ability to collaborate within an interdisciplinary healthcare team
- Must live more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel status
- Completion of standard candidate submission form, resume, candidate self-assessment, and a skills checklist
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and responding to emergent situations
- Develop and implement nursing care plans tailored to individual patient needs
- Effectively communicate with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients, and families
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record
- Uphold safety standards and patient privacy protocols at all times
- Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain clinical competencies
