Qualifications:
- Current, valid RN license in the state of California
- Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an ICU setting
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to excel in high-pressure environments and adapt to rapidly changing patient needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with complex and acute conditions in the ICU
- Monitor and interpret vital signs, respond to critical changes, and initiate appropriate interventions promptly
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated care
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized therapies in accordance with protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients’ families, providing updates and emotional support as needed
