This opportunity calls for a skilled Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide exceptional care in a fast-paced critical care environment. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an ICU setting
- Nursing degree: Diploma, ASN, or BSN (BSN preferred)
- Valid Massachusetts RN License
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Physical ability to meet the demands of the role
- Basic computer proficiency
- Telemetry experience required, with the ability to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips
- Pass Tele test on day 1
Schedule:
- 12-hour PM shifts
- 36 hours per week, primarily nights
- Every other weekend
- Every other holiday
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor and interpret telemetry cardiac rhythms accurately and swiftly
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Document patient status and care accurately in electronic health records
- Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies in the unit
