Critical Care Registered Nurse | Medina, Ohio

Join a specialized critical care team providing advanced nursing support in a Neurosurgical Intensive Care Unit. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced ICU nurses with a strong background in neurocritical care. The role focuses on high-acuity patients including those with acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage, seizures, and post-surgical conditions that demand invasive intracranial pressure monitoring and detailed neurological assessments.

Responsibilities include managing a patient load of 2-3 patients per nurse, performing hemodynamic monitoring, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Flexibility to float to other ICU and Step-Down units as needed is required.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Proven experience in Neuro ICU nursing.
• Expertise in intracranial pressure monitoring and neurological assessment.
• Ability to work independently with strong clinical judgment.
• Comfortable managing hemodynamics and interpreting routine CT, MRI, and angiography results.
• Willingness to work a weekend block schedule including Friday, Saturday, and Sunday shifts.
