Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Mentor, OH

Exceptional opportunity for a Registered Nurse with specialized experience in Neuro ICU care. This contract role is based in Mentor, OH, providing critical care to patients in a 19-bed Neurosurgical ICU that manages acute stroke, subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH), seizures, and post-surgical cases requiring complex monitoring.

The unit focuses on patients needing invasive intracranial pressure monitoring, frequent neurological assessments, hemodynamic surveillance, and routine imaging such as CT, MRI, and Angiography. Staff-to-patient ratios range from 2-3:1, and there will be opportunities to float to other ICUs or step-down units as needed. This position specifically covers a weekend block schedule, working each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active RN license with Neuro ICU experience required
• Proficient in neurological assessments and critical care monitoring
• Experience with invasive intracranial pressure monitoring and complex hemodynamic management
• Comfortable managing high-acuity neuro patients and interpreting diagnostic imaging results
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced ICU environment
