Critical Care Registered Nurse - Millbrook, Alabama

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ clinical experience in ICU, Cardiac Stepdown, or PCU environments
• Advanced knowledge of cardiac and critical care protocols
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Strong assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making abilities
• Excellent communication skills and team collaboration

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care, monitoring critically ill and cardiac patients
• Accurately interpret ECGs, administer medications, and respond to emergent situations
• Collaborate closely with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement patient care plans
• Consistently document patient assessments and progress with keen attention to detail
• Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and ongoing care needs
• Proactively participate in quality improvement initiatives within the unit
