- Thorough understanding of ICU protocols and monitoring equipment
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based care to critically ill patients, assessing rapidly changing conditions and responding appropriately
- Monitor and document vital signs, administer medications, and manage critical infusions
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including physicians, respiratory therapists, and case managers—to execute treatment plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records ensuring continuity of care
- Educate patients’ families about conditions, procedures, and post-discharge care
