By working in our dynamic Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), you’ll treat a diverse population of adult cardiac patients requiring advanced care. You'll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, observe varied approaches to acute care management, and broaden your leadership abilities. Floating between different units and hospitals will expose you to a broad spectrum of workplace practices, enhancing your professional proficiency and strengthening your resume for future opportunities.

Schedule & Hours:

• Accepting 36 or 48-hour workweeks
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday availability required

Required Qualifications:

• Associate degree in nursing
• Active Alabama RN license or compact license (temporary licenses not accepted)
• Current AHA ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke certifications (PALS preferred if assigned to pediatric units)
• Minimum of 18 months nursing experience, with at least 1 year of recent ICU/CICU experience

• Float to other departments and facilities as needed
• Provide safe, efficient, and patient-centered care
