Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract assignment
  • Flexible shifts available, including potential for nights and weekends

Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Proven record of working effectively under pressure and in high-acuity situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver expert nursing care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring, medication administration, and implementation of physician orders
  • Assess, document, and communicate patient progress and response to interventions
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Respond rapidly to changes in patient status and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Educate patients and families about ongoing care, procedures, and treatment plans
  • Participate in the maintenance of a safe and therapeutic environment, adhering to all policies and infection control protocols
