Schedule/Hours:

  • Flexible travel assignments aligning with facility needs
  • Rotating shifts with opportunities for overtime

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license, eligible for North Carolina or compact licensure
  • Minimum of 1 year recent ICU experience is required
  • Progressive Care (PCU) experience strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with a variety of patient acuity levels and dynamic care environments

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care in both ICU and PCU settings
  • Monitor and assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate complex care plans
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and families to ensure optimal outcomes
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation and comply with safety protocols
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies and continuously reassess patient needs
  • Participate in quality initiatives and contribute to ongoing improvement efforts
