Intensive Care RN | Oakland, California

Schedule/Hours:

• 4x8-hour night shifts (23:00 – 07:30)
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend rotation is required
• Floating may be needed based on staffing

Qualifications:

• Active California RN license
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum of 3 years of recent ICU nursing experience; 4 years preferred
• Demonstrated competency in critical care protocols and interventions

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient progress and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members on care planning and patient outcomes
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and utilize advanced monitoring equipment
• Respond swiftly and accurately to changes in patient condition, following ICU protocols
• Float to other units as needed to ensure excellent patient care across departments
• Uphold patient safety, confidentiality, and infection control standards at all times
