Critical Care Nurse in Overland Park, KS

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience
• Proficiency with critical care protocols, including patient monitoring and emergency interventions
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to quickly adapt and remain composed in urgent situations

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct, compassionate care to critically ill patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in the ICU
• Monitor vital signs, administer medication, and manage advanced life-support equipment
• Communicate and collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and patients’ families
• Adhere to established policies, procedures, and safety standards while documenting thoroughly
• Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, acting as a clinical resource and advocate
