This travel contract places you in a leading regional hospital’s Med Surg ICU, where you’ll experience complex clinical scenarios, collaborative teamwork, and exposure to new leadership approaches. Gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment and ongoing programs in neurointervention, advanced respiratory management, and multidisciplinary rounds, distinguishing your resume as you adapt to high-acuity patient populations.

Schedule:

• 12-hour shifts (0630-1830 or 1830-0630)
• 36 hours per week guaranteed
• Every other weekend and 2 major holidays per contract
• 13-week contract

Desired Qualifications:

• Active RN license with 2+ years recent ICU experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Ability to interpret centralized telemetry with Draeger monitoring
• Driver’s license proof for compliance with 50-mile radius rule
• Willingness to float to all inpatient units except Maternity/NICU
• Professionalism regarding dress code (Navy Blue scrubs)
• Compliance with artificial nail policy

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill adults and older teens
• Titrate ICU drips (vasopressors, sedation, antiarrhythmics, etc.)
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including fellows and residents
• Manage advanced equipment and technologies, with onsite training available
• Participate in rapid response and code situations
• Pass open-book exam during orientation (90% minimum required)
