As a Registered Nurse in this specialized pediatric cardiac intensive care environment, you’ll work in the only center of its kind in Western NY. You’ll care for infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with a range of complex acquired and congenital cardiac conditions. Here, you’ll add sought-after skills in pediatric cardiac care to your résumé while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, learning advanced clinical techniques, and adapting to innovative leadership approaches—perfect for nurses seeking to boost their expertise and flexibility in high-acuity settings.

Schedule:

  • Travel position; schedule details will be provided during the interview process.

Required Qualifications:

  • Active NY RN License (New York license only)
  • Minimum of two years’ recent nursing experience in ICU settings
  • Previous Pediatric Cardiac Care experience essential
  • Proficient with Telemetry monitoring

Mandatory Certifications (American Heart Association only):

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality specialized care to pediatric cardiac patients
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes
  • Collaborate effectively with the interdisciplinary team for patient-centered care
  • Implement and evaluate individualized care plans
  • Ensure accurate documentation and uphold safety standards
