Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Pike Road, AL

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active RN license required
• At least one year of recent ICU nursing experience
• BLS and ACLS certifications preferred
• Proficiency in assessing, monitoring, and caring for critically ill patients
• Outstanding communication and teamwork skills
• Experience in high-acuity or trauma center settings highly valued

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver advanced nursing care to ICU patients including medication administration, ventilator support, and hemodynamic monitoring
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Respond swiftly and calmly in emergency situations, adhering to best clinical practices
• Document all patient interventions, changes, and progress according to facility standards
• Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding condition, treatment, and ongoing care needs
