Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license required
  • Minimum of 1 year recent ICU nursing experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills
  • Able to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary settings
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients following established protocols and physician orders
  • Continuously monitor patient conditions; recognize and respond promptly to changes in status
  • Administer medications, therapies, and interventions as appropriate
  • Act as an advocate for patient needs, ensuring dignity and safety
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Accurately document nursing assessments, interventions, and patient responses
  • Support families with education, updates, and compassionate communication
