Travel Intensive Care RN | Pollok, Texas

This assignment offers exposure to advanced ICU practices, as well as hands-on leadership and collaboration with seasoned professionals. You’ll expand your resume by working with diverse patient populations, adapting to dynamic staffing needs, and gaining proficiency with MEDHOST EMR, all while earning valuable experience in both high-acuity ICU and stepdown settings.

Schedule/Hours:

• Days, 7A-7P
• 3x12-hour shifts
• Call possible
• Potential float to stepdown unit

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• BLS & ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years recent ICU experience
• Proficient in critical care nursing
• Willing to float to stepdown if needed
• Must be located more than 50 miles from facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver evidence-based, compassionate care to patients in a 27-bed unit
• Manage patient ratios of 2:1 or 3-4:1 effectively
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality outcomes
• Accurately document care in the MEDHOST EMR system
• Assist with stepdown unit coverage as directed
