Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with experience in an ICU setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
  • Effective communication skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to remain composed and decisive in fast-paced, high-acuity situations
  • Previous contract or travel experience in intensive care preferred but not mandatory

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients, including thorough assessments and continuous monitoring
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to implement and evaluate patient-specific care plans
  • Safely administer medications and operate critical care equipment
  • Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans, expected outcomes, and post-discharge care
  • Ensure meticulous documentation of all care activities in compliance with facility policies
  • Participate actively in emergency situations, responding quickly and appropriately

$2,025 - $2,203/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
