Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active and current RN license in the state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
- Minimum one year of experience as a staff RN in an acute care hospital, with direct critical care responsibility
- Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred
- Experience with EPIC EMR preferred
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster status preferred
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments, care planning, interventions, and evaluations for critically ill patients
- Deliver direct, high-quality patient care within RN scope of practice in a high-acuity setting
- Demonstrate proficiency in interpreting hemodynamic monitoring, recognizing diagnostic changes, and managing acute clinical situations
- Effectively communicate with physicians regarding patient status, test results, and changes in clinical condition
- Guide, teach, and support patients, families, and other healthcare staff, fostering a collaborative care environment
- Ensure meticulous documentation and maintenance of patient privacy and confidentiality according to best practices and standards
