Critical Care Registered Nurse - Rochester, Indiana

Advance your critical care nursing expertise by supporting patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting. Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience working in an ICU or critical care unit
• Advanced knowledge of ICU equipment, monitoring devices, and protocols
• Proficient in assessment, planning, and intervention for acute/critically ill patients
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required

Core Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patients with life-threatening conditions, adapting care plans as situations evolve
• Administer medications, infusions, and manage advanced medical equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations
• Document all interventions and patient responses according to best practices and facility procedures
• Provide emotional support and education to patients’ families regarding treatment plans and prognosis
