As a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), you’ll play a pivotal role in managing complex cases and supporting patients and their families through challenging medical events.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license in good standing
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience in an ICU or critical care setting
  • Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in high-pressure situations

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients, including continuous monitoring and intervention
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Administer medications, manage ventilators, and utilize advanced equipment according to established protocols
  • Monitor patient responses and notify provider of any significant changes in condition
  • Maintain thorough, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Educate patients and families regarding care plans and ongoing treatment
  • Support a safe, patient-centered environment adhering to best practice standards
