Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts: 4x8-hour schedule (23:00 – 07:30)
- Weekend rotation required
- Floating to related units as needed
Qualifications:
- Current, unencumbered California RN license
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association
- ACLS certification
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an ICU setting (4 years preferred)
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and adapt easily to changing priorities
Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
- Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment
- Administer medications, manage life-sustaining equipment, and respond rapidly to emergencies
- Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and progress
- Ensure compliance with best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
