ICU RN - San Francisco, California

Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts: 4x8-hour schedule (23:00 – 07:30)
• Weekend rotation required
• Floating to related units as needed

Qualifications:

• Current, unencumbered California RN license
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in an ICU setting (4 years preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt easily to changing priorities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, individualized nursing care to critically ill patients in the intensive care unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition and response to treatment
• Administer medications, manage life-sustaining equipment, and respond rapidly to emergencies
• Collaborate closely with physicians, allied health professionals, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, procedures, and progress
• Ensure compliance with best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory standards
