Schedule:

  • Night shift: 4x8-hour shifts (23:00 – 07:30)
  • Weekend rotation required
  • Floating to other units as needed

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Registered Nurse license
  • Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • ACLS certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale certification (NIHSS)
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in ICU; 4 years preferred
  • Proven ability to excel in fast-paced, high acuity environments

Position Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized care to critically ill adult patients, performing comprehensive assessments and implementing evidence-based interventions
  • Monitor and interpret patient vital signs, laboratory values, and clinical status, responding promptly to changes
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and pharmacists
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately following established protocols
  • Educate patients and their families on care plans, treatments, and ongoing needs
  • Adhere to all safety, infection prevention, and quality care standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and cross-unit floating as patient needs demand
