Qualifications:
- Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Acute care experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
Core Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze patient data to develop informed diagnoses and care plans
- Prescribe, coordinate, and implement nursing interventions to achieve targeted patient outcomes
- Continuously evaluate progress and adjust care plans as needed for optimal results
- Maintain collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support safe, humane, and effective care
- Provide education to patients, family members, and fellow staff
- Oversee and delegate duties to nursing and hospital team members, ensuring high standards are consistently met
- Participate actively in the discharge planning process to ensure seamless care transitions
- Fulfill additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
