Deliver high-quality, coordinated nursing care to patients in an intensive care environment while leading and supporting a dedicated healthcare team. This contract role offers the opportunity to oversee patient care, contribute to clinical decision-making, and foster a compassionate, safe setting for both patients and staff.

Schedule:

Qualifications:

  • Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
  • Acute care experience strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities

Core Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze patient data to develop informed diagnoses and care plans
  • Prescribe, coordinate, and implement nursing interventions to achieve targeted patient outcomes
  • Continuously evaluate progress and adjust care plans as needed for optimal results
  • Maintain collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support safe, humane, and effective care
  • Provide education to patients, family members, and fellow staff
  • Oversee and delegate duties to nursing and hospital team members, ensuring high standards are consistently met
  • Participate actively in the discharge planning process to ensure seamless care transitions
  • Fulfill additional job-related responsibilities as assigned
