An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with ICU experience to provide critical care nursing in a dynamic hospital setting located in Spring Creek, Nevada. This contract role offers exposure to acute patient care where clinical expertise and decision-making skills are essential to improving patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding appropriately to changes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation following established protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with ICU experience
- Proficient in critical care nursing practices and patient monitoring
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
