Intensive Care RN | Spring Creek, Nevada

Deliver comprehensive care in a collaborative ICU environment and make a positive difference to patient outcomes. This contract opportunity is designed for experienced Registered Nurses with a strong ICU background, offering enriching clinical experiences in a supportive and accredited acute care setting.

• Weekly Monday orientations

Key Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent ICU nursing experience
• Proficiency with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
• Exceptional clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Strong communication and ability to work efficiently under pressure
• Travelers must live more than 60 miles from the facility

Responsibilities:

• Deliver optimal care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring safe medication management and close patient monitoring
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in emergency interventions, treatment planning, and daily patient rounding
• Utilize critical thinking abilities to recognize and respond to clinical changes and urgent situations
• Accurately document assessments, care interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record
• Support patient families by providing education, resources, and compassionate communication
• Adhere to Joint Commission standards and facility policies to maintain high-quality healthcare delivery
