Key Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent ICU nursing experience
- Proficiency with advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and basic life support (BLS) certifications
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care
- Exceptional clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Strong communication and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Travelers must live more than 60 miles from the facility
Responsibilities:
- Deliver optimal care to critically ill patients in the ICU, ensuring safe medication management and close patient monitoring
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in emergency interventions, treatment planning, and daily patient rounding
- Utilize critical thinking abilities to recognize and respond to clinical changes and urgent situations
- Accurately document assessments, care interventions, and patient progress in the electronic medical record
- Support patient families by providing education, resources, and compassionate communication
- Adhere to Joint Commission standards and facility policies to maintain high-quality healthcare delivery
