Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in Strongsville, OH

As a Registered Nurse specializing in ICU, you will work on a contract basis and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide critical support for patients experiencing life-threatening conditions. Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• Demonstrated experience working in an ICU or critical care environment
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities
• Ability to efficiently manage high-stress situations and prioritize tasks

Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients
• Monitor vital signs and manage complex medical equipment
• Administer medications, intravenous therapies, and assist with advanced life support interventions
• Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, and other nurses to develop and implement care plans
• Document patient status, procedures, and responses to interventions accurately and promptly
