Embark on a rewarding assignment as a skilled Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse. This contract opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in fast-paced, high-acuity environments and are confident in their ability to deliver critical care to a diverse patient population.

Schedule:

  • Three 12-hour night shifts per week

Required Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of two years’ recent experience in an ICU setting
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients with life-threatening conditions
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions based on physician orders and established protocols
  • Monitor, interpret, and document vital signs and lab results accurately and efficiently
  • Respond rapidly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure coordinated, high-quality care and support
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in critical care
