Travel Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse - Tuscaloosa, AL

This travel nursing assignment provides rich exposure to collaborative, multidisciplinary teams caring for high-acuity adult cardiac patients. Schedule/Hours:

• Flexible: 36 or 48 hours per week options
• Must be willing to float to other units and hospitals
• Every other weekend; holidays required

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Associate degree in nursing (required)
• 2 years of RN experience preferred, but candidates with 18 months (including 1 recent year in specialty) considered
• Active Alabama RN or compact license (no temporary licenses)
• Required Certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, AHA NIHSS or Red Cross equivalent
• PALS preferred if cross-training to pediatric units

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, safe, and compassionate care to adult patients in the CICU
• Closely monitor, assess, and respond to acute and complex cardiac needs
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams for comprehensive treatment
• Float across other specialty units as needed to support hospital operations
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and evidence-based protocols
