Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license, active and in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years' recent ICU nursing experience
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS (required)
- Strong assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills
- Proven ability to adapt swiftly in changing clinical situations
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and ICU equipment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients, monitoring vitals, administering medications, and providing interventions as directed by care teams
- Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal treatment plans
- Use advanced monitoring and life-support equipment, interpreting data to inform immediate actions
- Communicate clearly with patients’ families, providing updates on care plans while demonstrating empathy and professionalism
- Maintain accurate, timely patient records and uphold rigorous safety and infection control standards
- Actively participate in rounds, care planning, and continuous improvement initiatives
