Schedule/Hours:

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in an ICU or critical care environment.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required.
• Demonstrated expertise in ventilator management, central line care, and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm approach in emergent situations.
• Competence with electronic medical records and charting.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive care to critically ill patients by monitoring, assessing, and responding rapidly to changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, respiratory therapists, and ancillary staff.
• Educate patients’ families on care procedures, expected outcomes, and support resources.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care processes and outcomes.
• Adhere to infection control and patient safety standards at all times.
• Participate actively in shift hand-offs and quality improvement initiatives.
