Schedule/Hours:

  • Full-time contract position
  • Varied shifts; flexibility may be required

Key Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience working in an ICU setting
  • Proven clinical ability with ICU-specific protocols and critical interventions
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Adaptability and emotional resilience in a high-acuity environment

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assess, monitor, and provide direct care for critically ill patients
  • Implement individualized care plans and collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals
  • Perform and interpret advanced patient monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to hospital protocol
  • Educate patients and families on care plans, procedures, and recovery steps
  • Maintain meticulous electronic health records in compliance with hospital policies
  • Ensure infection control and patient safety guidelines are strictly followed
