Travel ICU RN - Washington, MO

In this critical care environment, you’ll expand your ICU expertise, learn from a variety of leadership styles, and collaborate with skilled colleagues using the latest EMR systems, such as EPIC. Schedule/Hours:

• Night shifts
• 36 hours weekly (3x12-hour shifts)
• Block scheduling available by request
• Weekend hours as needed
• No on-call requirements

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with the Missouri State Board of Nursing or a valid Missouri temporary work permit
• ACLS and BLS certification (or willingness to obtain within the probation or first year)
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in ICU
• Proficiency in titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), post-stroke care, Bipap, use of Airvos, and management of ventilated compressors
• Ability to float to Med/Surg and Tele as needed
• Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking abilities
• Preferred: Experience with medical calculation testing

Duties:

• Deliver exceptional care to patients with critical, cardiac, and neuro needs
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition rapidly
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal outcomes
• Document care using the EPIC system
