This travel RN-ICU role promises exposure to dynamic patient populations and collaboration with a resilient, team-oriented staff. With a 13-week commitment and a flexible night shift schedule, you’ll expand your resume while exploring all that Waukesha and the surrounding region have to offer during your downtime—from hiking and vibrant local dining to arts festivals and historical sites.
Schedule/Hours:
- 13-week contract
- 36 guaranteed hours per week (except holidays and orientation week)
- 12-hour night shifts (NOCs)
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Qualifications:
- Active Wisconsin RN license
- At least 3 years of ICU experience
- Minimum of 1 completed travel assignment
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (must be current and submitted)
- Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 12 months)
- Covid-19 vaccination (unless exempt for medical/religious reasons)
- Adaptability, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, compassionate care in a 10-bed ICU setting
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams and leadership
- Support patient and family education
- Float to Oconomowoc Memorial Hospital and Mukwonago as needed (within clinical competencies)
