This travel assignment invites experienced ICU RNs to make a meaningful impact in a 19-bed critical care department. Schedule/Hours:
- Night shifts
- 36 hours/week (3x12)
- Block scheduling options (upon request)
- Weekend hours as needed
- No call requirements
Qualifications:
- Current RN licensure with Missouri State Board of Nursing (or valid temporary work permit)
- 2+ years of ICU nursing experience
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
- Ability to float to Med Surg and Tele units
- Proven expertise in critical care, post-stroke care, titrating cardiac drips (Nitro, Cardizem, Amio, Esmolol), Bipaps, Airvos, and ventilated compressors
- Skilled at recognizing and managing deteriorating patients
- Team-oriented, self-starting, and adaptable personality
- Must meet facility’s professional attire guidelines (black scrubs; no hoodies)
Preferred Experience:
- Proficiency in medical calculations
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional care to a range of critical care, post-stroke, and neuro patients
- Administer and titrate cardiac drips and manage respiratory devices
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to achieve positive patient outcomes
- Document patient care using EPIC EMR
