An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced RN to take on a leadership role in a newly established pharmacy and infusion suite. This is a direct hire position where you will be the cornerstone nursing professional, overseeing patient care both on-site and in patients’ homes throughout the area. This unique role involves managing a range of acute and specialty infusion therapies as the program grows.

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm (variable)
  • On-call rotation required (nights/weekends as needed)
  • Travel up to 1 hour each direction for home visits
  • Expectation to work in patient homes with possible animals or cigarette smoke

Key Duties:

  • Provide direct and indirect skilled nursing care for infusion suite and home-based patients
  • Implement and manage physician orders with meticulous attention to detail
  • Select, train, develop, and mentor professional and allied staff as the program expands
  • Ensure timely orientation, clinical competency, supervisory visits, ongoing training, and evaluations for new staff
  • Coordinate with schedulers/clinical coordinators to ensure seamless patient care
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
  • Participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing policies and multidisciplinary team operations
  • Respond promptly to emergencies, assisting as needed outside set hours to ensure continuous quality care
  • Oversee administrative functions and ensure adherence to department and regulatory standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (BSN required, MSN preferred)
  • Unrestricted RN license in the applicable state
  • At least 1 year of recent supervisory/administrative management experience in home health, infusion, or a related specialty within the last 5 years
  • Two years of RN experience in a relevant specialty (pediatrics, infusion, IV therapy, critical care, oncology, nutrition support)
  • Proficiency in IV therapy and vascular access management
  • Valid state driver’s license
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications
