As a travel nurse specializing in Interventional Radiology, you’ll not only advance your clinical skills in a dynamic healthcare setting, but you’ll also have time to explore local eateries, historic sites, and hiking trails during your days off.
Within the Interventional Radiology department, you’ll join a dedicated medical imaging team utilizing cutting-edge technology like fluoroscopy suites, catheters, stents, and advanced IV pumps. You’ll have opportunities to observe and learn a range of image-guided invasive procedures, work with a supportive staff of experienced nurses, and familiarize yourself with Meditech EMR. This assignment offers invaluable exposure to varying workplace practices and leadership styles, significantly enriching your resume for future roles.
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- One weekday call shift per week
- Every 3rd weekend call rotation
Required Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Minimum one year of current acute care hospital RN experience
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Preferred Experience:
- Medical Imaging/IR experience highly valued
- Previous travel assignments, especially at large trauma centers
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and support a variety of image-guided procedures (IR, CT, US)
- Monitor MRI with anesthesia and oversee pacemaker patients
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care throughout all procedures
- Collaborate with an 11-member RN team on a modern, well-equipped unit
