Key Qualifications:
- Active and unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of two years’ experience in interventional radiology or a comparable acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment, IV insertion, and monitoring skills required
- Proficiency in supporting interventional radiology procedures, contrast administration, and patient recovery
- Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
- Excellent critical thinking and communication abilities
- Willingness to work as part of a dedicated healthcare team
Schedule/Hours:
- Contract position; specific shift hours and duration to be discussed during interview
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, expert nursing care to patients before, during, and after IR procedures
- Monitor patients for any signs of complications and respond effectively during emergencies
- Support physicians and technologists throughout complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Prepare and educate patients and families regarding upcoming procedures and expected outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to regulatory standards
