Registered Nurse IR - Bonaire, Georgia

Advance your career by supporting interventional radiology services with a focus on patient care and clinical excellence. An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse skilled in Interventional Radiology (IR) to work a contract position.

Schedule/Hours:

• 10-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Four days a week, totaling 40 hours
• On-call every 5th week (Monday–Friday, 5:00 PM–7:00 AM; Saturday/Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM)
• Call required for holidays
• No weekend rotation for regular shifts

Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, including Interventional Radiology
• Experience with nursing care for all radiology modalities
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Strong critical thinking and IV skills
• Adaptability and ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures
• Monitor and assess patient conditions before, during, and after procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, radiology technologists, and other care team members to ensure optimal outcomes
• Manage sedation, IV infusions, and patient education
• Response readiness for on-call cases during assigned call weeks
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and infection control standards
